Shen Nautilus Galio Taric Graves |
Nunu Nocturne Lulu Irelia Kog’maw |
BKT and KLH decide to spread out and cover all entrances at the start of the game leading to an uneventful early game. Both top and middle are relatively even throughout the early game with only BKT’s bottom lane showing a slight advantage.
Graves and Taric attempt to burst Kog’maw but find the tables turned when Nocturne gank and Irelia teleports from top lane to score first blood on Graves. BKT responds with a great gank on Nocturne while he’s taking his red buff, followed up by a gank on Irelia on the top lane.
Neither team is able to gain much ground against the other until a quick dragon by KLH puts them in a slight lead. Not long after though, BKT is able to grab a kill near dragon and take the global objective for themselves and gaining the lead. BKT decides to group up after this but things take a turn for the worse when they decide to blow all their spells on an Irelia who is able to tank them long enough for KLH to come in and score an ace. Following the ace, KLH picks up a free baron and starts their push into the opponent’s base.
While KLH attempts to push inwards, BKT makes the same mistake of focusing on Irelia first and being unable to finish her. The poor targeting priority results in BKT getting devastated and being forced to watch helplessly as KLH destroys their Nexus.
Player of the Match: Monkeyz’s Irelia impressed with his smart use of teleport to aid his team and great baits.
Key Plays:
- Irelia pulls off an excellent teleport to bot lane and grabs first blood
- BKT catches Irelia alone but she is able to tank long enough for KLH to arrive and sweep up
- Irelia baits an engage from BKT who are unable to kill her

Dr. Mundo Ryze Kennen Janna Graves |
Taric Ahri Shyvana Olaf Corki |
The match starts off on a quiet note with cautious play on both sides in the early game. At the top lane, Dr. Mundo attempts to gank multiple times forcing Olaf to burn potions and lose farm in an already disadvantaged lane. Over at the bottom, Graves and Janna are able to put the usually offensive combo of Olaf and Corki on the defensive.
Despite TPA’s reputation of having a poor early game they do exceedingly well early on but are unable to get any kills. Mundo picks up an early oracle that gives TPA a strong lead in map control.
At around the 12 minute mark SGS are able to catch Mundo off guard but unable to kill him. Taking advantage of his retreat, they decide to take dragon. TPA spots this quickly and try to intervene, they fail to do so but gain a consolation prize in the form of a first blood by Mundo.
Even with the dragon kill SGS is unable to pull ahead in gold due to poor lane control. Several kills take place during the mid-game with Graves and Ryze in particular making the plays. At the 19 minute mark SGS tries once again to turn the tides with an attempt on dragon but Shyvana gets caught out of position and causes the entire team to get aced.
Riding the wave of momentum and ten thousand gold ahead, TPA is able to take baron without resistance and charge straight into the enemy base. SGS try their best to defend but are unable to giving TPA a quick victory at the 22 minute mark.
Player of the Match: Lilballz’s Mundo was a thorn in the side of every lane with his constant ganks. On top of that, his early oracle left SGS flabbergasted and lacking vision.
Key Plays:
- TPA’s uncharacteristic domination of all lanes in the early game
- TPA scores first blood after SGS grabs dragon making the attempt less worthwhile
- A second dragon attempt by SGS goes awry as TPA catches Shyvana and scores an ace as a result
