Partners in Crime - featuring JaeYoong & Hagane
- By Saelis
The dynamic duo of the KL Hunters, Hagane and JaeYoong, revealed their personal ambitions to win more titles for the Hunters as a team, rather than prioritising their individual kill and assist scores.
“We’ve been friends for 9 years and started playing League of Legends together one and a half years ago,” Hagane said.
“It’s been a great pleasure for both of us to be partners at the bottom lane for the KL Hunters. Because we’ve known each other for so long, there’s an incredible synergy between us; of course, sometimes we do have disagreements but that doesn’t stop us from striving to be the best,” Jaeyoong told gpl.garena.com
“We would say practice makes perfect. There is no special strategy except to practice understanding and reading the game well - that’s what the both of us have always believed in.”
The AD carry recently made it to the Top 5 of the Individual Score table with 81 kills, despite having made his appearance in the GPL later than some of the other players. JaeYoong says he doesn’t allow himself to obsess over the kill scores, and maintains that he would trade the individual glory for more titles for the team as a whole.
“I’ve never put kills as my goal,” insists JaeYoong, “I don’t want to be obsessed with the number of kills I obtain, I’d rather be known more as a team player.”
“Our main goal and objective for the bottom lane is to be the best AD carry and Support players,” the dynamic duo agreed.
Tune into the KL Hunters matches this Saturday and Sunday (4th & 5th August) at 8pm, at the GPL website!
