Here’s what you didn’t see: 100 push ups by the Hunters!

The Kuala Lumpur Hunters (KLH) are going through a rough patch lately, with defeats to both the Manila Eagles (MLE) and the Saigon Jokers (SAJ), their closest competitors, in the last two weeks.

But if you think that’s going to daunt the Hunters, you can’t be more wrong.

“We may have lost a couple of battles, but the war is not over yet,” team captain GoldeN says. “All of us are working relentlessly to bring victory back.”

He listed a few key areas that the Hunters were hard at work at: synchronisation during team fights, along with execution of individual champion skills.  Knowledge of different strategies is also crucial to any team in the GPL, and the Hunters are building that up as well through watching matches of international top teams.

And if push-ups will help them fare better, then by god they will do a hundred of them every day.

“I believe that with time, the Hunters will emerge as one of the strongest teams in the GPL,” GoldeN asserts confidently.
“Practice makes perfect, and we just need more time to mature as a team.”

The two-week break after this week will give them just that time they need to come back with a vengeance. For now, the Hunters aim to remain firmly in the top three.

“We’ll fight with all our might against SAJ and SGS this week!” the team roars, their spirits still high and unwavering.  Lend them your support by tuning in for their matches this Friday and Sunday (6th and 8th July), 8pm, at the GPL website
